PRIVACY POLICY
We know that protecting your personal information is very important to you (as it is to us!) so we have developed this Privacy Policy to help explain how we handle any personal information you may share with us. P4 will only collect, use, and share your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Personal information is information you provide to us that personally identifies you (e.g., your name, email address, or any other information that can be reasonably linked to such identifying information by us).
Our Privacy Policy applies whether you use P4 website or any mobile applications we may develop, or any of our other products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, "Service").
This Privacy Policy also covers P4 use of your personal information that our partners or other services might share with us. This may happen if a third party performs a teacher survey on our behalf.
However, this policy does not apply to websites or services of companies that P4 doesn't own or control, such as third party services you might access through links or other features (e.g., social media, Square, providers of helpful resources) that may appear on our Service. These other services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing them with personal information.
We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and if you have any questions you can send us an email at P4@NextHighSchool.org and we will respond as quickly as possible.
By using our Service, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to this Privacy Policy.
What ways does P4 collect information? We collect information about you in two ways: (1) information that you voluntarily provide us by using the Service, and (2) information collected automatically as result of your use of the Service. These two types are described in more detail below. The types and amounts of information collected differ depending the user (teacher, parent, guest) and how they use P4 (e.g., School Store, Join P4).
1. ** Information that you provide to us.** Currently, teachers, students, and parents are the only users on our Service, however, guests (non-subcribers) may have limited access to the website. We collect and store the following types of information from users.
How long does P4 keep personal information about me? Personal information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted by either you or us. Please note that we may have to retain some information after your account is closed, to comply with legal obligations, to protect the safety and security of users or our Service, or to prevent violations of our terms.
Will I receive any communications from P4? Maybe, if you have registered on P4 and provided an email or phone number to us, or otherwise opted-in to receive communications from us, we may send you messages and updates regarding your account, updates regarding the Service, and information regarding products or services from P4. You can always unsubscribe from receiving any of our email or other communications whenever you'd like by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any P4 email, responding “UNSUBSCRIBE” or by turning off push notifications on your device. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Website, and you are responsible for reviewing those legal notices for changes.
Will P4 notify me of changes to this policy? Yes! We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy but we won't reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. If we make any significant changes, we'll post a notice on the Service and/or notifying you by email (using the email address you provided).
Additionally, if we ever make significant changes to the types of personal information and from whom, or how we use it, we will promptly notify you or parents in order to provide notice and to obtain consent, if needed, for those new practices.
If you don't agree with any changes to the Privacy Policy, you may terminate your account at anytime. By continuing to use the Service after the revised Privacy Policy has become effective, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to the current version of the Privacy Policy.
Links To Other Websites As a service to you, we may post on P4 links to other websites that may be helpful or informative to you. However, we do not sponsor or endorse those websites so please fully review their privacy policies and terms of use before using their websites as they may differ substantially from ours.
